Earthquake Relief Hours
Have you been doing your part? We can’t do ours if you don’t do yours...Every day in April at 19:00 in Snickers and 7:00 in Ice Breaker we will be holding an hour of normal bingo at normal prices.
By playing these bingo games you will be donating to the Earthquake and Tsunami Relief. Giggle Bingo will match all winnings from these hours this month and will make a donation to aid their recovery.

Bingo Surprise
Coming to Snickers in April is a bingo surprise, woohoo! “Its bingo Giggles, but not as we know it, LOL”. We have replaced all your normal standard £2.50 bingo games and morphed them into Bingo Surprise hours.
Normally the size of the prizes goes 1st line, 2nd line and FH but not anymore, LOL. The prizes can be in any order and you won’t know what order until the game starts to play. You could get the big prize first, second or last.

This recipe for olive and onion tartlets is great for a Sunday afternoon snack or picnic, or a great compliment for a cheese platter.
Olive and Onion Tartlet recipe
Serves 6
Ingredients
Enough short crust pastry to fill six small fluted tart tins (one ready rolled 375g sheet is plenty)
6 medium to large onions, sliced thinly
1 Tbsp butter
1 Tbsp olive oil
1 bay leaf
2 tsp dried oregano
1/4 tsp salt
3 tsp sugar
30 pitted black olives, halved (semi-dried olives work too)
50g Parmesan cheese, shaved
Directions
Roll out the pastry and line six loose-bottomed fluted tart tins. Place the lined tins in the fridge while you prepare the filling.
Melt the butter and olive oil in a large frying pan over medium heat until the mixture foams; add the onions, bay leaf, oregano, sugar and salt. Turn the onions once or twice and then reduce the heat to low. Cover and cook for 20 minutes.
Turn up the heat to medium and cook for another ten minutes, stirring often, until the onions are golden brown. Remove from heat, discard the bay leaf, mix in the halved olives and set aside.
Preheat oven to 180°C. Remove the tart tins from the fridge and blind bake for 10 minutes. Remove beans and cook for a further five minutes.
While tart cases are still hot, fill them with the onion mix and top with the cheese. Bake for a further 15 minutes, until the cheese bubbles and becomes golden brown. Serve with a mixed leaf salad and a dry white wine.
