Well, until it gets a good nibbling... The World's Finest Chocolate company has broken the Guinness World Record with a sweet treat weighing 12,290 pounds, measuring 3 feet high and 21 feet long. Sweet! It is thought that this gooey effort has broken the previous record-breaking choc bar by a ton. The recipe also certainly contains more ingredients than can be squeezed into the average mixing bowl too, with 1,200 pounds of almonds, 5,500 pounds of sugar, 2,000 pounds of milk powder, 1,700 pounds of cocoa butter and 1,400 pounds of chocolate liquor all included. Despite the mammoth proportions, the vast bar was made to illustrate 'portion distortion' to school children. A spokesman for the company said: "We purposely made this bar to be an example of 'portion distortion'. "We're committed to educating families about eating right and staying active and doing it in a fun and engaging way." Of course. And a very worthy campaign...but...anyone else hungry? This recipe calls for sweet corn, but you can use cheese or jalapenos to make it richer or give it a little kick. I wonder if I can use chocolate chips too! LOL! Cornbread Serves 10 Ingredients 375g plain flour 225g cornmeal 1 tsp salt 4 tsp baking powder 110g sugar 480ml oz milk 2 free-range eggs 110g butter, melted, plus extra for greasing Small tin sweet corn kernels, drained (or use fresh sweet corn) Directions Step 1: Preheat the oven to 200°C/400°F/Gas 6. Grease a 23cm/9in square baking pan with melted butter. Step 2: In a large bowl, combine all the ingredients together except for the sweet corn kernels. Mix until you have the consistency of a sponge cake batter, then add the sweet corn. Step 3: Stir to combine thoroughly and then pour into the prepared baking pan. Bake for about 20 minutes in the top of the oven. (Alternatively, you can bake these in a muffin tray lined with paper cases.) Step 4: The cornbread is ready when it has a golden colour and is springy to the touch. Allow to cool slightly before cutting. Good luck!
